Position Description:

Tipsy Pickle is looking for a full-time Assistant Bar Manager to support the Bar Manager in overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who can assist with maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and service. The Assistant Bar Manager will collaborate closely with the Bar Manager and bar staff to ensure a smooth, efficient, and engaging environment for our guests.

Position Duties:

➢ Support day-to-day bar operations, ensuring quality service

➢ Assist with inventory management, ordering, and budget tracking

➢ Train and mentor new bar staff alongside the Bar Manager

➢ Maintain quality control for drinks and cocktails served

➢ Help develop seasonal cocktails and promotional drink menus

➢ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations

➢ Step in to manage the bar during the Bar Manager’s absence

Time Expectations:

➢ 5-6 days per week

➢ Approximately 45-50 hours per week

➢ Nights and weekends availability required

➢ Additional hours may be necessary during peak times and events

Experience & Preferred Skills:

➢ Two years of experience in a bar leadership role, such as lead bartender or assistant manager, preferably in a high-volume setting

➢ Knowledge of mixology, beer, wine, and spirits

➢ Strong organizational and multitasking skills

➢ Effective communication and team-building abilities

➢ Proficiency in POS systems

➢ Able to remain positive and efficient in a fast-paced environment

➢ Local connections in the beverage industry are a plus
