Position Description:

Tipsy Pickle is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to oversee the bar operations and create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere for our guests. This full-time position requires a candidate who can maintain high standards of quality,

consistency, and service. Reporting to the General Manager, the Bar Manager will be responsible for inventory management, staff training, and ensuring efficient bar operations. The right candidate understands that the cocktail menu & overall bar strategy is already fully designed and can willfully execute it based on training and experience. In the future, the Bar Manager may help to create seasonal specials and new menu items. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the craft, can lead a team, and is excited to contribute to a new restaurant opening.

Position Duties:

➢ Manage day-to-day bar operations to ensure smooth service

➢ Develop and maintain bar systems and processes

➢ Oversee inventory control, ordering, and budget management

➢ Train, schedule, and supervise bartending staff

➢ Maintain quality control for all drinks and cocktails served

➢ Collaborate on menu development for seasonal cocktails and promotions

➢ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations

➢ Foster a positive and engaging environment for both staff and guests

Time Expectations:

➢ 5-6 days per week

➢ Approximately 50 hours per week

➢ Nights and weekends required

➢ Additional hours expected in the initial opening phase; will stabilize as operations normalize

Experience & Preferred Skills:

➢ Three years of bar management experience in a high-volume setting, such as a brewery, hotel, or entertainment venue

➢ Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, beer, and spirits

➢ Experience in inventory management and cost control

➢ Proven leadership experience with team training and development

➢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

➢ Proficiency in POS systems, Word, and Excel

➢ Ability to maintain composure in a high-energy environment

➢ Local connections and a reputation within the beverage community is a plus

➢ Previous experience in fast casual or corporate bar settings preferred
